MULTIFACETED ARTIST | PERFORMER | CREATOR

As a dance artist, I care deeply about sharing my passion and joy for movement with those witnessing my work. My style draws inspiration from blood memory — both my own and that of my dancers. Through visual storytelling, emotionally resonant music, and dynamic movement, I strive to move the audience not just physically, but spiritually. I want viewers to feel my choreography in their souls — to be transported, to connect, and to discover the rhythm within themselves.

In my process, I aim to challenge dancers to tap into the fire and passion that lies within them. I encourage them to bring their lived experiences into the studio, to find intersections between their personal narratives and the work itself. Depending on the concept, my approach shifts between collaborative exploration and more traditional choreographic methods. Regardless, I always prioritize creating a supportive, safe, and empowering space for all dancers involved.

My choreography spans concert dance, film, social media, and spontaneous improvisation. As a multidimensional artist, I often incorporate other disciplines such as voice, sound (live or recorded), acting, and visual elements. My diverse training — from Eurocentric styles like ballet and modern (Horton, Cunningham, Graham) to vernacular forms like hip-hop, tap, jazz, and West African — has shaped the expansive range of my movement vocabulary. Improvisation has become a key tool in my creative process, deepening my connection to the present moment and broadening my artistic expression.

All of these elements come together to form the foundation of who I am — a dancer, creator, and artist rooted in rhythm, story, and soul.
